Conoce en profundidad las bombillas LED G24
Existen diferentes tipos de bombillas LED en la actualidad, pero en este post nos vamos a centrar en las bombillas LED G24, son las sustitutas ideales para las bombillas LFC (lámpara fluorescente compacta) que se utilizan en apliques LED como los downlight, mpotrables y ojos de buey , siendo su aplicación sencilla y además no necesitan transformador.
Las lámparas PL (conocidas como LFC : Lamp Fluorescent Compact) pertenecen a la familia de las lámparas de ahorro tradicionales de descarga de gas, lo que las diferencia de las habituales bombillas de ahorro es el peculiar casquillo de conexión, que en vez de ser a rosca, tiene una prominencia cuadrada o rectangular en la base y unos pequeños “pinchos” (clemas) de conexión, que pueden variar, según el modelo.

En este post vamos a tratar las lámparas usadas en los típicos downlight como son las PL-C y PL-T
Las bombillas LED G24, son ideales para ser utilizadas en las cocinas y baños, debido a los materiales resistentes utilizados en su diseño, ya que brindan mucha luminosidad, aun así también logran adaptarse con facilidad a otros espacios del hogar y a todo tipo de uso.
Lámparas LED G24
Este tipo de bombilla LED G24 es la perfecta sucesora de las lámparas LFC utilizadas en los downlights (lámpara para empotrar), en la tecnología LED no se requiere de transformador, por lo que su instalación es muy sencilla. Existen dos versiones de este tipo de lámpara LED G24 que son muy diferentes la una de la otra en función del número de pines que tenga el casquillo (G24 de 2 pins o G24 de 4 pins) cabe recalcar que no tiene rosca (como las bombillas E27 o las bombillas E14).
Las lámparas PL de 2 pins, poseen en el casquillo un mecanismo de arranque incorporado y son alimentadas con reactancias electromagnéticas (las que pesan) que evitan las subidas o bajadas de tensión, con lo cual, son más estables.
Las lámparas PL de 4 pins, no llevan un arranque incorporado y son alimentadas a través de una reactancia electrónica (de las que no pesan). Su ventaja es su encendido inmediato, sin parpadeo, pero no soportan tan bien como las de 2 pins, los picos de tensión.
Al incorporarle la tecnología LED a estas bombillas se les adicionan las ventajas que éstas ofrecen, como: mayor durabilidad, eficiencia, menor consumo de energía eléctrica e iluminación de calidad.
Las bombillas LED G24 al igual que la bombilla LED G9, tienen un diseño resistente, ya que están cubiertas de aluminio. No es necesario hacer alguna reforma para instalar esta bombilla led, ya que se acopla perfectamente en el 99% del espacio donde estaban las antiguas fluorescentes. Su ahorro energético es de hasta el 80%, con una vida útil superior a 50.000 horas y dura 25 veces más que las antiguas bombillas fluorescentes.
Las bombillas LED G24 son ecológicas
Las bombillas LED G24 son un producto ecológico, sin metales pesados y sin emisiones infrarrojas o ultravioletas, no como las antiguas bombillas fluorescentes.
Las bombillas de bajo consumo por lo general contienen gases con mercurio, en una cantidad pequeña de casi 6 mg, que no es un riesgo alto para la salud humana, pero en altas exposiciones pueden ser muy tóxicas. Como es obvio para el medio ambiente es altamente contaminante, por lo que cuando se sustituya este tipo bombilla con esas características, hay que hacer mayor esfuerzo en que se lleva a un punto de reciclaje para evitar que estas bombillas lleguen a afectar nuestro entorno.
Con éste tipo de bombilla LED se puede decir que dentro de todas sus ventajas, al tener tecnología LED se anula la radiación ultravioleta, que según algunos estudios es causante de malestar para las personas, además si sustituimos por cualquier producto LED, tendrás mayor ahorro energético, energía sin mercurio ni radiación ultravioleta.
Características de las Lámparas LED G24
Estas bombillas LED G24 están compuestas por pequeños LED normalmente en formato SMD en 2835-5050-5730, consumiendo tienen una potencia de entre 7-15 watts, según modelos, dando una luminosidad de entre 700-1500 lm. Requieren una alimentación de 230VAC, tienen una vida útil de +50.000 horas y las disponibles en las 3 temperaturas: blanco cálido de 2700-3000K, blanco natural de 4000-4500K y blanco frio de 6000-6500K.
Las bombillas G24 son ideales para ser reemplazadas en los downlights, por lo general éstos llevan 2 lámparas fluorescentes de 26 watts con sus respectivos transformadores, el consumo de un downlight convencional de 2 bombillas 26W junto con sus transformadores esta sobre los 58W, las sustitución por bombillas LED G24 de 12W, conllevara un consumo total de tan solo 24W, ahorro en torno al 60%. Notaras de inmediato el cambio porque con este tipo de bombillas LED el encendido es instantáneo ya sea para un lugar de trabajo (al usar una luz blanca fría) o lugar de descanso (con luz blanca cálida) con estas G24 LEDs conseguirás resaltar las características de los espacios.
Las bombillas LED G24 igual que los tubos LED consiguen duplicar la relación de intensidad luminosa y potencia (lúmenes/W) de las antiguas bombillas de bajo consumo, logran triplicar su vida útil, con lo que conlleva a un ahorro tanto en la energía eléctrica como el mantenimiento, ya que se caracterizan por tener una vida útil muy prolongada.
Bombillas LED G24 para downlight
Las bombillas LED G24 reemplazan a las antiguas bombillas usadas para downlight, no requieren de balastros para su funcionamiento, este componente electrónico no es necesario para el funcionamiento de las bombillas con tecnología LED, ya que funcionan directamente al ser conectadas a la red de 230V, eliminando así el consumo producido por estos componentes, con lo cual se consigue tener un importante ahorro energético.
Aun así nuestras bombillas LED G24 son compatibles con los balastros electromagnéticos, en los casos en los que por comodidad o desconocimiento no se puedan retirar los trasformadores. Sin embargo si los balastros son electrónicos entonces sí que es necesario-imprescindible quitar los mismos, ya que si no las nuevas bombillas LED parpadearán.
Las bombillas LED G24 para downlights integran en su gran mayoría un sistema de control de temperatura tal como lo hacen las bombillas LED R7S, estas bombillas funcionan sin problemas a temperaturas de hasta 40°C. Tiene un sistema de auto preservación que si llega a alcanzar un nivel de temperatura de 40°C se apagaría de manera automática para evitar daños irreparables en la bombilla, y se encendería tan pronto como la temperatura haya descendido a niveles seguros de funcionamiento. Por lo que es recomendable no instalarlas en luminarias completamente cerradas, o en su defecto realizar ajustes de ventilación de la propia luminaria para evitar el calentamiento.
Lámparas de bajo consumo G24 VS lámparas LED G24
Las lámparas de bajo consumo comúnmente las colocan por parejas en los downlights de cocinas, baños y locales comerciales, tienen fama de una muy buena eficiencia energética, pero en realidad no es del todo cierto. Al compararlas con la iluminación incandescente, se puede decir que realmente son más eficientes, pero hay que tener en cuenta que para el funcionamiento de las 2 lámparas de bajo consumo de 26W a cada una le hace falta un balastro, con lo que el consumo total de ambas puede superar a veces los 60W.
Se puede pensar que esto supone un ahorro en comparación con las bombillas incandescentes, pero si se usan Lámparas LED G24 el ahorro energético puede ser muchísimo mayor. En las bombillas G24, muchas personas y empresas han decidido ya unirse al cambio que ofrece la tecnología LED, que son utilizados para iluminación interior, actualizando sus lámparas de bajo consumo por Lámparas LED G24, disminuyendo en consumo energética hasta un 70%, sin necesidad de cambiar la instalación, un encendido inmediato, una vida útil de más de 50.000 horas y una mínima emisión de calor.
